Mortgage lender NJ Lenders Corp settled claims arising from an August 2025 breach in which files containing Social Security numbers and other personal data were accessed. Class members choose between reimbursement of verified expenses up to $2,500 or a simple $40 cash payment, and either way can enroll in a year of credit and fraud monitoring. Documented-loss claims need third-party proof such as receipts; sworn statements alone are not accepted. Claims are due October 1, 2026, with final approval to be considered October 16, 2026.
