Bradford Health Data Breach Settlement

Bradford Health, an addiction treatment provider, agreed to a $900,000 fund after a November 2023 hack allegedly gave an intruder access to patients' sensitive records. Class members can pick between reimbursement of up to $5,000 for losses they can document or a flat cash payment of around $150 that requires no receipts. Everyone in the class can also sign up for three years of free medical data monitoring. Claims must be filed by August 17, 2026, and the court will consider final approval on September 1, 2026.

Anyone whose personal information was exposed in the November 2023 cybersecurity incident at Bradford Health and who was sent a notice about the settlement. The compromised data reportedly included names, Social Security numbers, medical records, and financial details.

Up to $5,000 for documented losses, or roughly $150 as a pro rata cash payment with no documentation; three years of medical data monitoring is also available.

No payment amount is ever guaranteed. Pro rata payouts shrink as more valid claims come in, and every payment waits on final court approval and any appeals.
