AMCA/Labcorp Data Breach Settlement

This $35 million settlement resolves Labcorp-related claims in the long-running In re: AMCA Customer Data Security Breach Litigation (D.N.J., MDL No. 19-md-2904), which grew out of the 2019 hack of medical billing vendor AMCA. Labcorp patients whose data flowed through AMCA can file online or by mail through September 3, 2026. The exclusion and objection window closed July 27, 2026, and the final approval hearing took place August 20, 2026 in Newark. Per-person payout figures were not listed on the administrator's homepage at verification time.

People who received diagnostic services from Labcorp and whose personal or payment information was caught up in the 2019 breach of American Medical Collection Agency, the billing collector at the center of the multidistrict litigation.
