This California case accused the companies behind the Leesa, Brooklyn Bedding, Helix, and Bear mattress brands of running perpetual 'sale' pricing, advertising discounts off reference prices that allegedly did not reflect real former prices. The resolution is worth roughly $8.16 million in direct relief across an estimated 74,000 qualifying orders. Every class member gets $110 per mattress: file a claim by September 25, 2026 to take it in cash, or do nothing and receive a store-credit voucher good for three years. Purchases are verified from the retailers' order records.

California residents, or people physically in California at purchase, who bought a discount-advertised mattress from leesa.com (7/28/2019-3/11/2024), brooklynbedding.com (9/5/2020-3/31/2024), helixsleep.com (10/2/2020-3/31/2024), or bearmattress.com (6/4/2021-4/1/2024).

$110 per qualifying mattress, paid as cash to those who file a claim form or as a three-year store-credit voucher automatically to those who do not.

No payment amount is ever guaranteed. Pro rata payouts shrink as more valid claims come in, and every payment waits on final court approval and any appeals.

No documentation is required. You submit the claim form and attest to your eligibility; the administrator validates claims against available records.
