Moodswings Ticket Fee Settlement

Oliva v. Moodswings, LLC targeted the fees charged on event tickets sold through the company's ticketing websites, invoking consumer protection rules in six states. The settlement gives buyers a choice: a small cash amount for every qualifying ticket, scaled by state law (New York purchasers get the most at $7.12 per ticket), or a one-time 25% discount code. Purchases are matched against the ticketing records, so no receipts are required, and the claim, opt-out, and objection deadlines all fall on September 18, 2026.

Ticket buyers who used one of four designated websites to purchase tickets to Moodswings shows in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, or Tennessee, with qualifying purchase windows that differ by state between August 29, 2022 and August 31, 2025.

Per-ticket cash ranging from $2.54 to $7.12 depending on the state ($7.12 in New York, $3.37 in California), or a 25% discount on one future ticket purchase.

No payment amount is ever guaranteed. Pro rata payouts shrink as more valid claims come in, and every payment waits on final court approval and any appeals.

No documentation is required. You submit the claim form and attest to your eligibility; the administrator validates claims against available records.
