John Deere Right-to-Repair Antitrust Settlement

Deere & Company agreed to pay $99 million and open up its repair ecosystem to resolve multidistrict antitrust litigation accusing it of monopolizing service work on its large farm equipment. Beyond the cash, Deere committed to a decade of injunctive relief giving owners and independent shops access to repair tools and resources on fair terms. The class covers repair purchases from Deere or authorized dealers between January 2018 and the May 2026 preliminary approval, with money distributed based on labor hours. Angeion Group administers claims, which are due October 15, 2026, ahead of an October 29, 2026 final approval hearing in Rockford, Illinois.

Farmers, businesses, and other entities in the United States that paid Deere or its authorized dealers for repairs to John Deere large agricultural equipment between January 10, 2018 and May 18, 2026.
