This Miami-Dade County case (Cavanaugh v. Fanatics, LLC, No. 2026-001293-CA-01) alleged Fanatics tacked handling fees onto orders while promoting free shipping. Rather than cash, the deal compensates shoppers with two $5 site vouchers apiece. No receipts are needed, but you do need the Claim ID and PIN from the settlement notice to submit online. Claims, opt-outs, and objections are all due August 27, 2026, ahead of a September 16, 2026 approval hearing.

Who is eligible

Anyone who bought merchandise on a Fanatics website between May 6, 2018 and March 30, 2026 and paid a handling fee on that order. Claimants use the Claim ID and PIN from their email notice to file.

Estimated payout
